The course layout is fun. I believe it's a par 68, with more 3's and 1 less 5 on each side. It's in a retirement area, where the residents play early. I would suggest playing mid day for a less crowded round.

Ironwood is a fun course for the player that doesn't hit it a mile. I like it because I can reach most of the par fours with a driver and an iron. The par threes are a challenge.

The course has just completed its over seeding period and the fairways are great. The greens are rolling true, the bunkers are clean with trimmed edges and fresh sand. The clubhouse has ample table and bar space for an after play drink and conversation. The kitchen is open for business and the staff is attentive to golfers needs. Give it a try.
